What to include in your first message

To save you a back-and-forth, it helps if your first message tells us:

• A short description of your study or research idea.
• The kind of devices or data you're interested in.
• Where you are in the research process — exploring an idea, preparing a proposal, or already running a study.
• Whether you have an IRB protocol in place.

Don't worry if you don't have answers to all of these — that's what the consultation is for.
